Job Description :

L3Harris is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Space Superiority & Imaging division's customers and programs. The ISSO will perform information system security activities under the guidance and oversight of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) on assigned information systems. Responsibilities include performing security control assessments, continuous monitoring, configuration and vulnerability scanning, documentation, and supporting the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process following NIST RMF standards. The ISSO will also remediate security deficiencies, manage user accounts, and respond to security incidents.

Qualifications :

• Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with at least 2 years, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Additional Skills :

• DoD 8570 IATII / IAM I certification.
• Experience supporting classified systems under JSIG, ICD 503, or 32 CFR Part 117 Section 18.
• Experience with security scanners like ACAS, NESSUS, SCAP, EvaluateSTIG.
• Experience with virtual/cloud environments.
• Experience with RMF A&A and system accreditation.
• Experience with security assessments, POA&M development, system hardening, SIEM tools, CLI, and Linux/Unix commands.
