Cencora is seeking a Specialist II, Contracting Program Analysis to develop and manage data analytics for Elevate PSAO contracts across all customer segments. You will analyze data, compile key indicators, and support data-driven negotiations and business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or similar.
  • Normally requires a minimum of 3 years related experience.
  • Background in pharmaceutical distribution/supply chain is a plus.

Specialist II, Contracting Program Analysis

This position is responsible for developing and managing data analytics for programs and/or network contracts across all customer segments within the Elevate PSAO. Conducts analysis and compilation of key business indicators that are tied to business strategies and network performance. Assists with administering various business operations by analyzing data, systems and/or dashboards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in ensuring data accuracy
  • Collects, interprets and analyzes large sets of data to identify trends, to identify opportunities for Elevate, and to enhance negotiations for contracts or make fact-based business decisions.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to share information gained via data collection and analysis.
  • Defines data requirements and assists with the preparation of reports, such as management reports, monthly financial statements, forecasting, and supporting schedules, financial forecasts, and/or annual business plans.
  • Utilizes data to support and analyze programs and PSAO contracts from various perspectives to inform improvements or identify opportunities.
  • Monitors customer activity, requiring the use of multiple systems within Cencora and Third-Party Providers.
  • Reviews and analyzes programs data to identify opportunities for stakeholders.
  • Assists with third-party reporting/data inputs that drives the success of Elevate programs.
  • Participates and supports development of overall objectives along with the long-term goals of Elevate.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, finance or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program.
  • Normally requires a minimum of 3 years related and progressively responsible experience.
  • Depending on function, may require background in pharmaceutical distribution/inventory management, supply chain operations with an understanding of reverse logistics and pharmacy reimbursement as well as the current and future business challenges pharmacies

Minimum Skill, Ability and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Elevate products, programs and services preferred
  • Understands broad role of various customer segments
  • Ability to work under pressure to balance competing priorities and to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical skills relative to financial tracking, building models, and profitability calculations using excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacts with all levels of associates and management within and outside the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service management skills
  • Strong navigation of multiple systems and the consolidation of data from various sources
  • Strong computer skills necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
  • Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical business intelligence software is required.

Full time Salary Range* $73,600 - 147,290

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
