Job summary

Job description

Helping photography students with a variety of lab work.

This will include working with computers, photo-editing software, ink jet printers and paper, studio photography, darkroom, and photographic equipment.

• Self-motivated to help students and instructors in the photography lab and studio
• Daily maintenance of the facilities and equipment (duties will include cleaning, mixing chemicals, checking out equipment, and inventory)
• Opening and closing the facility
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge in Lightroom Classic, Capture One Pro, and Photoshop.
• Proficiency with digital workflow, analog workflow, all formats of cameras, studio lighting, and equipment.
• The ability to communicate effectively and work with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and abilities. This means to maintain good working relationships with students, faculty, and staff across the College.
• Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
