Specialist I, Business Development

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist I to expand our reach and impact across the Rocky Mountain region. In this role, you'll support strategic growth initiatives, collaborate with independent sales reps, and engage directly with customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, field-based role and is excited to make a real difference in a globally respected audio brand. This position will be remote from Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO area!

Responsibilities
  • Assist with developing and executing education programs and presentations to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure's product categories.
  • Identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize market leads and opportunities to reach potential customers outside of Shure's current revenue stream.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct training sessions to educate independent sales representatives and dealers on product benefits and sales techniques.
  • Arrange technical and logistical support for conferences, seminars, clinics, and other special events.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of education/training efforts in all markets.
  • Monitor online forums as assigned and report on items of interest to Shure.
  • Provide support to Product Planners and Product Marketing Specialists on product lines.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activity, both from a product and market development standpoint.
  • Assist with developing, through outside partners, multimedia education tools to supplement face-to-face efforts.
  • Manage inventory of demo equipment and loaner stock.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with a basic knowledge of audio principles and equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply procedures to address routine challenges.
  • Follow established guidelines and best practices to analyze information and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Up to 20 weeks of travel annually - including some weekends - is required.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized; good time management skills.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The base salary for this position ranges from $57,000 to $96,000. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year.
