Responsibilities

  • Manage Boston transfer program for inbound and outbound transferees; communicates and enforces policies to both employees and Staffing team, ensures HR team meets key deadlines and deliverables, liaises with Global Mobility, coordinates inbound transfer onboarding, escalates tricky issues to supervisor and Global Mobility as needed, tracks transfer budget, completes all relevant paperwork and Workday/SNOW entry
  • Lead the end-to-end externship process, serving as an advisor on policy interpretation and stakeholder support; provides resource support to externship candidates, oversees communications and documentation with employees and Staffing team, and partners closely with ER, Global Externship Program Managers, and Staffing to proactively resolve complex issues and drive a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Oversee departure process for AC2s and SACs, advise on policies and transition matters; lead annual departure meeting for ACs/SACs, manage exit interviews, administer departure bonuses and payouts, ensure accurate Workday processing and data integrity. Synthesize quarterly exit interview insights to identify themes and support continuous improvement.
  • Support SAC promotion process in close partnership with Staffing; confirm promotion decisions, administer bonuses, prepare promotion documentation, advise on policy questions, and track acceptance while ensuring clear communication with the Staffing Team and Office Head.
  • Lead medical LOA and accommodations process for AC2s and SACs; liaise with US Benefits team, support employees and communicate with Staffing team
  • Lead the Offer to Return process for AC2s and SACs, serving as a key advisor on policies, partners closely with Staffing Team to diligence candidates and tracks acceptances. Liaise with HR Ops team to elevate billing and other concerns.
  • Support AC2s and SACs through the performance support/watch process, partnering closely with Staffing to calibrate and confirm ratings, advise on process and policy, and engage directly with employees to provide clarity, guidance, and consistent experience throughout sensitive performance discussion
  • Partners closely with HR and PM teams to maintain the integrity of the Consulting staff people movement list, ensuring timely and accurate updates related to employee movement; leads the monthly people’s list meeting and drives ongoing communication of people changes to key stakeholders to support business planning and operational decision-making.
  • Maintains Consulting staff email distribution lists, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to support effective communication across the business.
  • Support compensation cycles for ACs and SACs, coordinating process execution and ensuring accurate administration of compensation-related activities.
  • Serves as a liaison among the Immigration team, employees, and internal stakeholders to help resolve visa-related issues efficiently and with appropriate escalation when needed.
  • Produces Workday reporting and data analysis in response to business needs
  • Contributes to special projects and broader team priorities, providing flexible, high-quality support as business needs evolve

Provide support for employee processes and programs related to our consulting staff. The programs are important pieces of Bain’s employee value proposition, thus a focus on customer service, attention to detail and strong communication is critical in the execution of these programs. Teaming with other HR and PD colleagues will be core to the role.

Please note: Bain’s offices are operating on a hybrid model. It will be expected during onboarding and training this individual will be in office four days a week. Once trained, determined by the supervisor, the expectation will for our Human Resources team to be in office a minimum of three days a week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

ABOUT YOU

U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:

  • In Massachusetts, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $67,000- $80,500 . Placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
    • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
