Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences, Irvine, CA, seeks a Specialist, Training Event Planner to efficiently plan and manage training program logistics for the HCP Education team. You will document programs and maintain records aligned with compliance requirements.

You will coordinate venues, travel, catering, speakers, materials, and registrations; act as the primary logistics contact for field teams, HCPs, attendees, hotels, and vendors; track budgets and support Legal contracts to ensure Sunshine Act

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3+ years in sales, marketing or healthcare required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred for the role.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare or related industry is a plus.
• Event planning and coordination experience for physician training or sales meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and document training programs for HCP Education Programs.
• Manage training event logistics including venues, travel, catering, invites, speakers, materials, registration and onsite execution.
• Serve as the primary logistics contact for field teams, HCPs, speakers, attendees, hotels and vendors.
• Track event budgets, invoices, expenses, RFPs, purchase orders and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain HCP training records and support contracts with Legal (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs) and compliance requirements.

Patients with mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease often have complex conditions with limited treatment options. Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) is honored to support clinicians with a comprehensive, innovative portfolio of therapies to address a patient’s unmet clinical needs.

This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in the growing Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) HCP Education team, providing innovative solutions to transform treatment for patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid heart disease.

How you’ll make an impact:

• The Specialist, Training Event Planner is responsible for efficient planning and management of event logistics and documentation of training programs hosted by the HCP Education team. Additionally, this individual will maintain a training documentation process for HCPs.
• Support the TMTT HCP Education team by planning, coordinating, and documenting training programs for HCP Education Programs.
• Manage training event logistics, including venues, travel, transportation, catering, invitees lists, faculty/speakers, training materials, registration, and onsite execution.
• Serve as the primary logistics contact for field team, HCPs, speakers, attendees, hotels, and vendors; proactively troubleshoot event-related issues.
• Track event budgets and finances, including HCP payments, invoices, expense reports, RFPs, purchase orders, and vendor/hotel negotiations.
• Maintain HCP training records.
• Partner with Legal to support HCP and vendor contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and compliance with HCP guidelines, Sunshine Act, insurance, legal, health, and safety requirements.

What you’ll need (Required):

• High School Diploma and at least 3 years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing or healthcare industry required
• Ability to travel up to 50% nationwide

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $74,000 to $104,000 (highly experienced).
