Job summary

BNY is seeking a Fund Reporting Specialist to join our Fund Services team in Boston, MA. This role requires in-office attendance 4 days a week and involves assisting with the preparation of accounting statements for clients, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and have up to 3 years of experience. Key responsibilities include collaborating with auditors and reviewing financial reports to meet corporate standards.

Qualifications

  • No direct reports, but may have management responsibilities in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Review balance sheets and income statements for reconciliation.
  • Draft financial statements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Description

We’re seeking a Specialist for the role of Fund Reporting to join our Fund Services team. This role is located in Boston, Ma and requires you to be in office 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists with the preparation and review of accounting statements on behalf of clients.
  • Works with auditors and clients to ensure statements are accurately produced and verified on a timely basis.
  • Reviews fund balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and statement of shareholders equity to ensure reported numbers are reconciled.
  • Drafts parts of accounting statements and reports and ensures financial reports meet Corporate and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 0-3 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in accounting preferred.
  • No direct reports. May have people management responsibilities in some geographies. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
