Job summary

RXO is seeking a Specialist, Entry Writer to prepare, compile, and manage documentation to clear goods through U.S. Customs. Join a dynamic team and contribute to efficient cross-border shipping across North America.

The role involves preparing customs entries, reviewing documents for accuracy, creating invoices, and maintaining customer profiles while tracking shipments. A year of customs brokerage and MS Office experience are required.

Compensation for this role is $24.00-$25.00 hourly. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Prepare customs entries for all shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner
• Review documents to check for accuracy and ensure compliance with customs regulations
• Create invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the billing department
• Store files and enter information into system
• Develop and maintain customer profiles
• Manage daily tracking report for open shipments

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of customs brokerage experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office

It'd be great if you also have:

• Associate degree in Business or Logistics
• 5 years of experience in customs brokerage
• Strong analytical, communication and time management skills
