Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, HVAC, life-safety, and control systems at our Oakbrook Terrace, IL on-site location.

You will manage purchasing, inventory control, and contractor performance while ensuring safety and compliance with hazardous materials handling. The role requires on-site technical support and the ability to drive between facility locations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive between facility locations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and operations of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor repairs for mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life-safety systems.
• Perform HVAC system maintenance, inspections, calibration, and parts replacement.
• Review monthly service-request summaries and address recurring issues.
• Evaluate vendors for quality and pricing; verify delivery accuracy.
• Record readings, ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Perform periodic inspections of tools and oversee outside contractors.

Perform maintenance and monitor repairs for the facility’s mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life-safety, and control systems to ensure that all building systems are maintained in accordance with applicable standards. Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventive maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical operations. Maintain HVAC systems and related equipment through cleaning, inspections, calibration, adjustments, and replacement of parts to support optimum performance. Review monthly client service-request summaries to identify and correct recurring operational issues. Evaluate vendors and suppliers regularly based on service quality and competitive pricing, and verify delivery accuracy, including quantities, pricing, and product descriptions. Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation. Comply with departmental policies regarding the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Conduct periodic inspections of tools and instruments, monitor the quality and cost of work performed by outside contractors, and perform any other duties and tasks as assigned.

Valid driver's license with ability to drive between facility locations to provide on-site technical support

Estimated compensation for this position: 107,203.00 – 107,203.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
