Qualifications

• 3+ years general maintenance experience.
• Previous GMP environment experience.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems.
• 3-5 years of Industrial Water Treatment and Purification preferred.
• Electrical, PLC, and/or plumbing experience preferred.
• Boiler operator certificate
• Wastewater certificate

Responsibilities

• Ensure water systems and equipment operate properly via inspections and logs.
• Respond to mechanical/electrical problems and troubleshoot repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of utility systems.
• Provide general labor in Utilities area, clean and organize workspaces.
• Complete training and demonstrate equipment monitoring.
• Maintain GMP training qualifications and site compliance.
• Interact with Maintenance, Engineering, and external customers.
• Work independently and follow escalation policy when needed.

Document and communicate problems encountered through electronic work order systems, electronic mail and voice systems.* Perform preventative maintenance and inspection on all utility systems and associated equipment.* Provide general labor services throughout all areas maintained by the Utility Maintenance department including cleaning and organization of designated work areas.* Successfully complete training and demonstrate an ability to perform equipment monitoring and operational checks on utility equipment.* Complete site GMP requirements in relation to training and site practices.* Maintain GMP training qualifications to ensure site compliancy standards.* Interact well with others in a team environment including Maintenance, Engineering team members as well as other internal / external customers.* Be able to work independently and follow escalation policy if needed.* Strong organizational skills and time management skills.Job Requirements* Have knowledge of reverse osmosis units, Electro-deionization, Vapor Compression Stills, clean steam generators, water softeners, filters, steam and cold glycol heat exchanging systems.
