Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group is seeking a safety program administrator for an automotive manufacturing environment. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and improving safety programs to protect all Team Members.

The position requires collaboration with team leaders, process engineers, and management to identify risks, conduct training, and ensure compliance with BMS/EMS/SMS requirements. Occasional travel and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• 0–10 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in safety program administration is desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Job description

Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operation of safety programs in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

• . Conduct hazard prevention and control processes.
• . Reinforce safe work practices with team leaders and Team Members.
• . Support Safety Teams in all areas to identify potential safety risks.
• . Develop communication systems with department managers for day-to-day activities.
• . Work with team leaders and Process Engineering to resolve safety issues in all areas.
• . Maintain Team Member Incident Tracking Chart(s) for senior managers.
• . Participate in investigations and root cause analysis of incidents; facilitate the completion of reports; analyze incidents to identify trends; implement corrective
  actions; assure lessons learned are shared and preventive actions are closed and documented.
  
• . Conduct effective and appropriate health & safety training and assure compliance with regulatory training requirements.
• . Conduct HMMA Orientation training for new and transferred employees, contractors, visitors.
• . Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management
  System (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling,
  and moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations. Relevant training will be provided if assigned these job duties.
