Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Specialist Dietitian to join the Community Adult Eating Disorder Service on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). Remote working will be considered, with posts potentially in multiple locations across the Trust.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered dietitian with post-qualification experience.
• Experience with eating disorders in adult community settings.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Eating Disorders Nutrition and Dietetics provision for the north team of the Community Adult Eating Disorder Service.
• Provide specialist dietetic assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans for adults with complex ED needs in the community (including FREED).
• Offer expert nutritional advice, signposting and information to professionals, clients and carers.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate specialist dietetic interventions for ED in community and inpatient settings.
• Develop individual treatment programmes based on current guidelines using clinical skills and techniques.
• Prioritise complex caseloads and manage workload effectively.
• Contribute to developing the Eating Disorders Dietetic Service in line with vision and best practice.
