As a Data Security Specialist, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and tech leads to strengthen our organization’s data security posture. You will be responsible for analyzing data security alerts. In addition to expertise and experience in data security, you will bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. You will demonstrate strong business acumen and maintain a continuous learning mindset in all aspects of your work.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Working knowledge of cloud and on-premise data security controls. Experience conducting analysis of events/triggers and correlating disparate data to understand the scope of a potential data security concern. Basic understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance concepts. Familiarity with tools such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), or Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). Ability to quickly learn new technologies and security concepts.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $96,200.00 to $158,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
