Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a mentor for the Schwab Service Academy Nesting program. You will support new hires through Nesting phases, coaching on client interactions and call quality, and collaborating with Training, Licensing and CS&S leaders onsite.

The role emphasizes on-site coaching, live monitoring, side-by-sides, Nexidia evaluations, and feedback to ensure consistent World Class Service.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation.
• Experience supporting frontline Schwab/CS&S operations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Observe Nesting Manager-led cohorts and debriefs to drive coaching.
• Educate and support professionals during Nesting phases: Service Essentials, Advanced, Trading Essentials.
• Provide coaching on client interactions, live and chat, with actionable feedback.
• Develop coaching skills via live monitoring reviews and side-by-sides.
• Ensure consistency in all client interactions through feedback and training.
• Support CS&S clients to maintain World Class Service by mentors.
• Motivate and inspire licensed professionals in their career development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schwab Service Academy Nesting program seeks to create aThrough Clients' Eyes Serviceenvironment for our new hires by focusing on operational excellence, First CallResolution,and the overall reduction of client effort.The SSA Nesting team partners with Training, Licensing and CS&S leaders, providing onsite support among new hires while serving clients. This support comes in different formats from MS Team chat support, live monitoring and Nexidia Call Evaluations. The coaching and feedback to new hires focuses on providing accurate information, using EDGE Service Skills behaviors highlighting Schwab’s Power of One and “Through Clients’ Eyes” strategy.

As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Observe Nesting Manager lead cohort huddles and debriefs.
• Educate and support professionals during Nesting phases (Service Essentials, Service Essentials Advanced, and Trading Essentials).
• Provide support, resources, and actionable feedback to new hire professionals on client interactions, live and via chat.
• Develop coaching skills via review of live monitoring, conduct side-by-sides, listen to recorded calls documented in Nexidia.
• Ensure consistency in all client interactions through coaching and feedback.
• Serve CS&S clients to ensure that mentors maintain World Class Service skill sets during new hire professional’s classroom and licensing phases.
• Motivate, inspire, and instill confidence for licensed professional to develop their career.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong facilitation skills
• CS&S Front-line experience
• Strong knowledge of the securities industry and investment vehicles (e.g., IRA, brokerage accounts, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• FINRA Series 9 and 10 licenses
• Prior experience in support of SSA program
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and able to work independently on a variety of tasks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Exhibited success in creating a “through the client’s eyes” experience with a focus on proactive and productive conversations
• Passion in mentoring others in teaching processes, coaching processes, and employee development skills for future leadership success

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
