The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Job Description

Our Loyalty and Personalization team is looking for talented marketing individuals who are passionate about pets, are highly detail-oriented, enjoy identifying and implementing process optimizations and are relentlessly unsatisfied with the status quo.

We are seeking a CRM Specialist of Personalized Marketing to help support the deployment & execution of CRM campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and push. This role will be instrumental in assisting with a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, monthly campaign calendar curation, development of email briefs & targeting parameters, coordinating email planning sessions and initiating promotional offer set-up. PetSmart is poised to rapidly grow in this area and is looking for growth minded individuals to be part of the journey.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create & implement email campaign briefs in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Participate in monthly calendar planning, CRM strategy working sessions & campaign targeting meetings, providing ideas and recommendations
  • Collect & organize necessary details for successful email deployment, including copy, disclaimers & URLs
  • Monitor and manage various project tasks in Workfront to ensure campaigns remain on schedule
  • Orchestrate the set-up of in-store and online promotional offers and generate coupon creative assets
  • Maintain weekly campaign reports, utilizing a variety of data sources to determine campaign performance and inform decision making – including a mix of CRM channel metrics, customer metrics, sales and redemption metrics
  • Partner collaboratively across marketing, digital, creative, CRM audience & technical teams to help bring campaigns to life in our owned channels
  • Leverage AI and other upcoming technologies to create efficiencies and personalization in communications; embracing a fast-paced, changing marketing environment

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Merchandising, Business or other relevant path
  • Minimum two years of relevant marketing experience, retail preferred
  • Previous experience in CRM including email, SMS or mobile push preferred, which could include knowledge of email automation or deployment platforms, development or QA, AI tools, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and bias for customer-centric planning
  • Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize tasks and project timelines as necessary
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-builder, both internally and externally, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, initiative-taker
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
