MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Compliance Specialist to advance the Global Ethics & Compliance program. The role involves analysis, administration, and continuous improvement of compliance processes, risk management, regulatory reporting, third‑party risk, supply chain compliance, and data privacy activities.

The preferred arrangement is hybrid, based in Beachwood, Ohio or Jasper, Indiana. Fully remote candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate product compliance reporting to EPA, ECCC, and state regulators.
• Develop data-driven compliance monitoring and reporting capabilities using analytics and AI.
• Use compliance tools (NAVEX EthicsPoint, Dow Jones screening) to manage initiatives.
• Analyze supplier compliance as part of Third-Party Risk Management, including due diligence and audits.
• Coordinate Conflict Minerals reporting and related compliance activities.
• Work with Sourcing and Supply Chain on Lacey Act, TSCA and Code of Conduct reviews.
• Support global compliance risk assessments, benchmarking, and program maturity assessments.
• Coordinate audits, wood surveys, biodiversity surveys, and survey responses.
• Evaluate program improvements for multi-state data privacy compliance.

Job Description

This position plays a key role in advancing MasterBrand’s Global Ethics & Compliance program, Always Accountable, through the analysis, administration, and continuous improvement of compliance processes, risk management activities, regulatory reporting, third‑party risk management, supply chain compliance, compliance risk assessments, audits, surveys, and data privacy activities. The Compliance Specialist will work collaboratively with internal business partners, customers, and suppliers to support compliance with regulatory requirements, compliance program monitoring and reporting, implementation of program initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

The preferred work arrangement for this role is hybrid, with the position based in either Beachwood, Ohio, or Jasper, Indiana. Fully remote candidates may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate product compliance reporting to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Environmental and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), and state environmental regulators.
• Develop, assess, and enhance data-driven compliance monitoring and reporting capabilities, including the use of analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence tools to identify trends, assess risks, improve program effectiveness, and support decision‑making.
• Use and evaluate Compliance technology tools, including Dow Jones screening tools, NAVEX EthicsPoint, Navex Disclosures, ASSENT, and related tools to manage compliance program initiatives.
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding new and existing supplier compliance as part of MasterBrand’s Third-Party Risk Management Program, including performing due diligence, onboarding, sanctions screening, supplier compliance monitoring and audits, and related activities.
• Coordinate Conflict Minerals reporting and related compliance activities.
• Work closely with Sourcing and Supply Chain on Lacey Act, Toxic Control Substances Act (TSCA) and Code of Conduct supply chain reviews and related compliance activities.
• Conduct and support global compliance risk assessments, benchmarking, and program maturity assessments.
• Coordinate and assess program audits and reporting, wood surveys, sustainability surveys, customer survey responses, and related response strategies.
• Evaluate and coordinate program improvements regarding multi‑state data privacy compliance, including analyzing consumer deletion requests and similar requests made under state privacy laws.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Direct experience in compliance, supply chain compliance, product compliance, third‑party risk management, or a related function preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with compliance technology tools, reporting processes, due diligence platforms, or data analytics tools preferred.
• Practical experience with artificial intelligence tools in a work environment, including but not limited to Microsoft CoPilot, preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data, reporting, and documentation.
• Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong understanding of compliance processes, internal controls, risk management principles, and related terminology.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook required.
• Experience with dashboards or reporting tools preferred but not required.
• Occasional travel may be required.
