Job Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director of Commercial Operations, the Commercial Operations Specialist will be a key member of the FIFA 26 Commercial Operations team. The role involves close collaboration with the Host City Director and other stakeholders to deliver top-tier design solutions for FIFA World Cup 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels.
  • Manage campaign calendars to ensure timely completion of activities.
  • Implement marketing operations at ancillary events in the Host City.
  • Plan and coordinate events such as product launches, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Handle logistics including venue booking, vendor coordination, and on-site setups for marketing activations.
  • Support the Trophy Tour's local segments in planning and on-site delivery.
  • Ensure proper utilization of FIFA rights and assets, working with FIFA teams and Host Committees to develop auxiliary events and revenue streams.
  • Manage premium items and coordinate with vendors for marketing and branding materials.
  • Develop and execute campaigns for licensed merchandise, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with media outlets for advertisement placements.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance, ROI, and improvement strategies for senior management.
  • Work with external vendors to produce marketing materials.
  • Support the FIFA Fan Festival team and collaborate with local host committees on their plans.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, balancing expectations and deadlines.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in project management and large event coordination.
  • Strong client management skills; agency experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in entertainment, agency, or sports industries is advantageous.
  • Experience working with international teams or offices.
  • Mid-level management experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in project management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams).
  • Skilled in Outlook and online collaboration tools.
