Job description

Assessing New Product and Procedure Development in Cardiac Imaging

This role involves evaluating new and existing medical devices through patient screening, imaging training, and case support, focusing on both novel and iterative technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze, summarize, and present clinical imaging data (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to support product development and event investigations.
  2. Oversee third-party image analysis for patient screening and contribute to assessments for early feasibility and clinical studies.
  3. Collaborate with NPD teams and healthcare professionals to develop imaging-based patient selection criteria and protocols; train support teams and HCPs on cardiac imaging procedures.
  4. Create training content related to imaging procedures and analysis for healthcare professionals and support teams.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in biological or life sciences, animal science, or related fields, with at least 3 years of clinical echocardiographic experience, or certification in RDCS (or equivalent) with 5 years of related experience.

Additional Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and imaging analysis software (e.g., 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to instruct and guide imaging specialists effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to foster inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Solid knowledge of cardiovascular imaging equipment and principles.
  • Understanding of safety, quality guidelines, and good clinical practices.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently on complex projects.
  • Ability to develop solutions for moderate scope problems and contribute to process improvements.
