Job summary

Camco Chemical in Florence, KY is seeking a materials transfer associate at the plant to handle bulk transfers between trucks and ensure accurate logging of lot numbers. The role requires identifying materials, preparing transfer areas, and following transfer sheets to maintain safety and quality.

Responsibilities include operating a stand‑up forklift and RF scan gun, following established procedures, and collaborating with teammates while adhering to PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Read and follow bulk transfer sheet instructions.
• Log lot numbers to maintain traceability.

• Adhere to company safety policies to ensure product quality.
• Operate with minimal supervision while maintaining team collaboration.
• Wear safety equipment including respirator, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and dust mask.
• Pass the respirator fit test.

Responsible for transferring materials from/to bulk trucks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following Bulk Transfer Instructions

• Read and meticulously follow instructions provided on the bulk transfer sheet.
• Log lot numbers accurately to maintain traceability.

Material Preparation

• Identify the correct materials required for transfer.
• Retrieve the necessary items and prepare the transfer area.

Safety and Quality Assurance

• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure safety, integrity, and product quality.
• Promptly recognize and report any safety issues related to products or equipment.

Independent Work and Team Collaboration

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Foster good work habits and consistently follow established processes.

Equipment Maintenance

• Keep transfer equipment operational by:
• Following operating instructions.
• Troubleshooting breakdowns.
• Requesting repairs when needed.

Communication and Dependability

• Be a team player with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Exhibit punctuality and regular attendance as per company policy.
