Job summary

Hyundai Mobis is seeking a BOM/EO Control Specialist to lead the Production Control Working Group and manage all BOM/EO data in SAP/MES. The role focuses on accurate BOM maintenance, EO changes, and cross-functional coordination across production departments.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in automotive production control, solid MS Office skills, and familiarity with SAP PP/MM. Bachelor's degree and bilingual Korean/English are preferred. On-site manufacturing setting with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• The BOM/EO Control Specialist establishes and administers the Production Control Working Group.
• Manage all areas of the BOM/EO within SAP/MES and ensure accurate BOM data and EO changes.
• Coordinate EO implementation with all plan departments and track EO-related communications.
• Maintain and distribute the PART LIST MASTER to all departments.
• Track material history for obsolescence or loss/gain items and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Liaise with IT for SAP system improvements from a user perspective.
• The initial point of contact for Customer (HMGMA) Engineering Change including BOM.
• Collaborate with Korea R&D Team on EO matters.

Overview

The BOM/EO Control Specialist establishes and administers the Production Control Working Group. The incumbent will manage all areas of the BOM/EO.

Responsibilities

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• The initial point of contact for Customer (HMGMA) Engineering Change includes BOM.
• SAP Material Master management- create part numbers and maintain info (MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, Module no)
• Maintain SAP PP Module process and implementation (LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)
• Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES (Part no, Material information, Effective Point Information)
• Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy (Weekly, Monthly)
• Maintain and distribute PART LIST MASTER to all department.
• Able to track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss items.
• Follow up with the IT team for SAP system improvement from a user standpoint.
• Coordinate EO implementation with all plan departments.
• Manage EO part changes (EO alert, 1st sequence recording, EO communications internal/external)
• EO info management (participating in internal/external EO meetings, track upcoming EPI)
• Maintain EO systems (G-EPI, SAP)
• Collaborate and communicate with the Korea R&D Team.
