CHS Inc. is seeking an Experienced AP/AR Specialist to join its finance team onsite in North Dakota.

The role involves processing supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting complex transactions within a structured procure-to-pay process. You will collaborate with internal partners, monitor aging and workflow queues, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR.
• High School diploma or GED
• Proficient in MS Office suite

Responsabilidades

• Process and monitor supplier invoices and related transactions to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Review invoices for pricing, quantities, coding, approvals and completeness.
• Research and resolve invoice, pricing, payment, and supplier account discrepancies.
• Identify root causes of invoice and payment issues and coordinate with partners to resolve recurring problems.
• Support specialized invoice processing, including prepayments and complex transactions.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal partners to obtain missing information.
• Reconcile supplier statements and research missing invoices and aged items.
• Monitor workflows, aging, and department metrics to support operations.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with policies and controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure consistent processing.
• Participate in process improvements and department projects.
• Provide backup coverage and support a team-oriented environment.

The person in this role will also participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.This role is onsite at our Kindred ND OR Gwinner ND Location.**Responsibilities*** Process and monitor supplier invoices and related transactions, including inventory-related purchases, to ensure accuracy and timely completion.* Review invoices and supporting documentation for appropriate pricing, quantities, coding, approvals, and completeness, and make necessary corrections.* Research and resolve invoice, pricing, quantity, payment, and supplier account discrepancies, including past-due items and processing exceptions.* Identify root causes of invoice and payment issues, document findings, and work with appropriate business partners to resolve recurring issues.* Support specialized invoice processing, including prepayments, special payment handling, reconciliations, and other complex transactions.* Contact suppliers and internal business partners to resolve questions, inconsistencies, missing documentation, or other information needed for processing.* Reconcile supplier statements and research missing invoices, credits, unapplied payments, and aged items.* Monitor workflow queues, outstanding approvals, aging items, and department metrics to support operational objectives.* Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in accordance with established policies and internal controls.* Utilize financial systems and tools to process transactions, research activity, and support system enhancements.* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues and ensure consistent processing practices.* Participate in process improvement initiatives, documentation updates, testing activities, and departmental projects.* Support cross-training efforts, provide backup coverage, and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications (required)*** 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR* High School diploma or GED**Additional Qualifications*** Proficient in MS Office suite* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written* Strong attention to detail and organization skills* Associate's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field* Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
