Specialist Accounts Receivable Reporting

Hotel: Corp India GSC Delivery Centre, 11th Floor, Building No. 10, Tower C, DLF Cyber City, DLF Phase II, 122002

  • Responsible for oversight, direction of the day-to-day operations of Regional AR – Cash Application & billing which includes timely & accurate billing to hotels, application of Payment received from IHG franchised hotels, managed hotels and other debtors, in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Responsible for sub-ledger vs GL reconciliation and closure of SL. Support in clearing the Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Preparation, Recording and Reporting of Bad Debt Provisioning. Conduct forecasting and analysis to monitor Provisioning trends.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue payments, addressing disputes and ensuring timely resolution to drive AR & Bad debt reduction.
  • All queries from stakeholders are acknowledged and answered timely
  • Taking ownership and accountability of the activities allocated and to ensure completion of work within the stipulated time to meet the process metrics
  • Helping and supporting cross-functional teams on various process specific queries
  • Ensure seamless Audit and comply process activities as per SOX compliance
  • Providing training to Team members on process activities.
  • Supervise team in absence of Team Leader
  • Ensure proper controls are in place to avoid audit observations and all members are cross trained

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and 3-4 years work-related experience.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Accounting Knowledge: Good Knowledge of Accounting Principles and concepts together with the ability to apply them to the company's Accounting practices.
  • System Knowledge: Good knowledge of the relevant IHG systems like People soft, Essbase, OAC etc.
  • Relationship management, Negotiation skills, ability to work in target and deadline-oriented environment
  • Possess analytical and good observational skills

Communication - Exhibits strong communication skills, both verbal and written, adapting the style and level of detail to suit the user's needs and understanding.
