Job Description
POSITION GOAL
To provide professional and technical assistance to the activities of School Way Café in the areas of financial reporting, purchasing and maintenance
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. *Maintain and monitor the financial reporting program from school sites.
- 2. Maintain and monitor Websmarrtt, mylunchmoney, catering, and commissions’ deposits.
- 3. Prepare Mylunchmoney and Websmartt reports and submit to finance
- 4. *Prepare district summaries; request generation of and maintain computer runs and summary reports.
- 5. *Work with the finance department to transfer funds to School Way Café from bank and reconcile bank statements to balance reports.
- 6. *Implement, monitor, change funds for all school sites.
- 7. *Train district personnel as designated, including requirements for student nutrition services financial reporting.
- 8. Consolidate and develop meal counts and FASSP reports and submit for claim
- 9. *Control financial reporting to the Department of Education (DoE), submit reimbursement claims and monitor accuracy of reimbursement received.
- 10. *Prepare the annual agreement for NSLP and SFSP and submit to the Department of Education, compiling the necessary school site information and all supporting documentation.
- 11. *Work with management information services and outside company personnel during implementation and expansion of central office function of the computerized cash register system and financial reporting system to ensure accuracy.
- 12. *Monitor central office functions and pertinent financial reporting.
- 13. *Manage agreements with other agencies and submit invoices for payment to the schools of record and maintain payment records.
- 14. *Control maintenance function for food service equipment, prioritizing and routing all requests to the maintenance department.
- 15. *Order, coordinate and monitor delivery and installation of all new equipment with vendors, maintenance department and schools.
- 16. *Work with the purchasing department to assist with the bid specifications for food service applications.
- 17. *Assist with bid tabulations and awards.
- 18. *Prepare and distribute all purchasing and reporting memoranda to managers.
- 19. *Monitor vendor compliance with bid specifications.
- 20. *Prepare requisitions and purchase orders for the department as designated.
- 21. *Monitor and manage purchasing cards used by the department.
- 22. *Order, receive, and distribute small wares to each cafeteria
- 23. *Order, receive and arrange installation and payment of large equipment and maintain inventory for large equipment.
- 24. *Assist in developing procedures and records for school operations to establish stands of compliance and performance.
- 25. *Assist in preparing budget and financial statements
- 26. *Participate in the activities for the District Emergency Response Team as designated
- 27. *Monitor refrigeration monitoring system and coordinate emergency response
- 28. *Must be able to work flexible hours and an occasional evening or weekend
- 29. *Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director, School Way Café.

Required Qualifications/Certifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two (2) years training or office experience in bookkeeping
- Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License; if a holder of any other valid US state-issued Driver’s License, agree to acquire a Florida Driver’s License within thirty (30) days of employment, except in a case where accommodation is required
- Must be able to operate school board vehicles, when assigned, in accordance with operational procedures and School Board Policy 505
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to type and use computer systems including word processing, spreadsheets and data retrieval systems
- Strong written, verbal, mathematical and reasoning skills and ability to communicate with diverse individuals and groups
- Ability to organize and prioritize work loads
- Ability to function productively with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling of sensitive or confidential material and information
- Ability to prepare lesson plans and instruct others
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to understand laws, policies and procedures relating to the Child and Nutrition Program (CNP)

$48,015 to $55,103
