Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transport of program participants.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid within 30 days, a clean driving record, and at least 21 years old. You will operate buses, log trips, and report issues. You must complete 4 hours of in-service training annually and work well with people from diverse backgrounds.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Y-Haven Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transport of program participants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The transport of Y-Haven residents to and from Y-Haven and off-site locations in a safe manner.
• Clean buses daily.
• Report any mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Maintain daily travel log.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Certification(s) & Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.
• Clean driving record
• 4 hours in-service training every year
• 21 years of age or older
