Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a casual Security Officer – Response to join our Boston/Needham teams. The role varies by day and event, mixing customer service, patrols, and surveillance while staying agile and precise.

Applicants must have open availability for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends and overnight on-call work, 8–32 hours weekly. We offer $26.00/hour, a comprehensive benefits package, uniform provided, and growth opportunities within GardaWorld.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must provide High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.

As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

Must be able to get to sites in Downtown Boston and Needham MA. This is a per diem / on call position hours will vary from 8 to 32 weekly. Must have open availability 1st,2nd and 3rd shifts on varies days.

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
