GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to patrol varied sites including DC, MD, and VA, verify identities, and respond quickly to incidents. You must be able to stand and move throughout shifts in dynamic environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

This role offers a set schedule with availability for mornings, evenings, and overnights, plus opportunities for state license sponsorship.

Qualifications

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule: The schedule varies based on site needs. The client prefers those who have open availability to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Weekends and holidays are required. We cannot guarantee full-time hours. The ideal candidate will be flexible enough to work at multiple sites and be able to receive sponsorships for various state security licenses.

Qualifications Of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.


• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED


• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process


• First aid certification is an asset


• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift


• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!


• You have a state license if required


• You are flexible to work at various sites in DC, MD, and VA. Plus obtain the necessary security licenses for the state you will be working


• You must have open availability


• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
