Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our LTC-focused team. You will evaluate orders for accuracy, ensure correct dispensing and labeling, review medications and narcotics for automated systems, and perform on-call duties as needed. The role emphasizes CARE culture and exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

Overnight 7 on/7 off shift with full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and EAP. Florida license and LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida.
Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
Ensure that dispense medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
Miscellaneous tasks, checks prepacks.
Review medications & narcotics for automated dispensing machine.
Works clarifications on orders and follow-ups.
Obtain emergency CII verbals from physicians.
Coordinates emergency kits and checks cassettes for the Omnicell machine.
Perform "on-call" duties when required.
Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge.
