Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Hospital and Retail pharmacy experience or similar medical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration.
• Ensure dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Perform miscellaneous prep tasks and checks.
• Review medications and narcotics for automated dispensing machine.
• Clarify and follow up on orders as needed.
• Obtain emergency CII verbals from physicians.
• Coordinate emergency kits and cassette checks for Omnicell.
• Perform on-call duties when required.
• Assist pharmacist in charge with other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida.

• Previous experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fields.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Framework / ECM software knowledge a plus.

Schedule

• 2:30pm -11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
• 7pm - 3:30am with rotating weekends and holidays.
