Job summary

ARQ is building a next-generation fintech platform with global reach. The Special Projects Lead will work with founders to drive critical initiatives, shaping product, monetization, and growth across key markets.

You will collaborate with product and marketing to expand revenue streams, design activation programs, and manage partnerships, while monitoring P&L impact and margins. A high-growth environment awaits experts ready to move fast and own outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as an entrepreneur in a VC-backed company or top-tier firm.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to partner with key players.
• Excellent organization and information gathering across the company.
• Resourceful with attention to detail and due diligence.
• Strong analytical skills and aesthetic sense.
• Team player with persistence and results-driven mindset.
• Business fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
• Ideally, you are an expat living in London or willing to relocate (visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Identify and launch new revenue streams with product and marketing.
• Design and execute activation and cross-sell programs to boost revenue per user.
• Lead local growth efforts including community building and brand marketing.
• Identify and own initiatives to improve gross margin, e.g., revenue growth or cost reductions.
• Negotiate with vendors and partners to improve commercial terms.
• Track and report the P&L impact of active projects.

What you're doing

Special Projects Lead will work closely with the founders to drive the most critical initiatives for the company. Beyond scope of work and priorities, it is in the DNA of ARQ to do whatever it takes to win. In this role you will:

Work with the product and marketing teams to identify and launch new revenue streams or improve monetization of existing ones.

Partner with growth and product teams to design and execute activation and cross-sell programs that increase revenue per user and improve product adoption across the customer base.

You help execute local growth efforts - including community building, affiliate marketing, brand marketing and influencer marketing

Identify, execute and own initiatives that directly improve gross margin whether by growing revenue, reducing COGS, or cutting operating costs.

Negotiate with vendors and partners to improve commercial terms.

Track and report on the P&L impact of active projects, holding teams accountable to targets.

What you'll need

3-6 years of experience as an entrepreneur in a VC backed company, a top tier management consulting firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey), or in a top tier investment bank (bulge bracket)

Strong stakeholder management skills, able to bond with critical partners and manage customers needing support

Excellent organisation, being able to find information about all areas of the company

Resourceful, with maximum attention to detail and due diligence

Strong analytical skills and taste for aesthetics

Ability to work well as part of a team, driven, relentless and a proven closer - you don’t take no for an answer

Business fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese a plus

Ideally, you are an expat (or have been an expat) living in London or willing to relocate (ARQ can sponsor your visa)
