Job summary

Certarus Ltd. is seeking a Special Projects Technician to implement and execute various Special Projects Operations across the US with frequent travel. You will train local personnel in CNG, RNG, and H2 technologies and provide technical assurance for safe, efficient operations.

The role reports to the Senior Manager - Special Projects and requires readiness to travel for weeks at a time. The position emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, site visits, and hands-on troubleshooting across gas

Qualifications

3-5 years of applicable oil & gas experience, midstream or industrial experience.
Experience with CNG, RNG, or Hydrogen applications is a plus.
Troubleshooting engines, compressors, and process equipment.

Responsibilities

Support Special Projects with job planning, site visits, and training technicians and drivers on safe project execution.
Set standards at new job sites and assist with training of personnel.
Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Sales, Engineering, and HSE from start to finish of a project.
Monitor SCADA onsite and remotely to optimize resource use.
Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
Provide preventative and corrective services on gas compression equipment.
