Job summary

Center for Empowered Politics (CEP) and CEP Education Fund are seeking a senior development leader to guide strategy and execution of fundraising efforts across foundations, high-net-worth donors, progressive networks, and earned revenue initiatives.

The role involves external representation to funders and the supervision of the development team, including the Associate Director of Development and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, design, implement, and evaluate resource mobilization for CEP(EF) and related projects.
• Build relationships and represent CEP(EF) externally with funders and donors.
• Supervise the Associate Director of Development and manage consultants as needed.
• Coordinate with the Executive Director on donor engagement and fundraising networks.

Job description

Work closely with the Center for Empowered Politics (CEP) / CEP Education Fund Executive Director on the strategy, design, implementation, and evaluation of resource mobilization efforts for CEP(EF) and related projects in our network. This includes a range of strategies from foundation fundraising, high net wealth donors, progressive fundraising networks, funder collaboratives, and earned revenue projects. This person will play a key role in building relationships and representing CEP(EF) externally with funders and donors. They will directly supervise the Associate Director of Development and manage at least one consultant, with the possibility of more.
