Job summary

Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seeking a Special Programs Instructional Assistant - Bilingual for EDGE Middle School. The role supports licensed teachers in planning and implementing educational programs, including IEPs, in bilingual (Spanish/English) settings.

Fluency in both languages is required, with a bilingual assessment part of the process. The position is classified as temporary with benefits, working 3 hours per day for 188 days per year, with an hourly rate of $24.03–$30.65.

Qualifications

• MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ AND WRITE SPANISH AND ENGLISH FLUENTLY.
• BILINGUAL ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED.

PURPOSE
To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and bilingual education settings.
