Salem-Keizer Public Schools in Salem, Oregon is hiring a Special Programs Instructional Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. This classified, school-based position supports a licensed teacher, assists with educational programs including IEPs, and contributes to student achievement.
Hours are 7.5 per day, 188 days per year, and the role is permanent and classified. The hourly range is $24.03–$30.65, with interviews conducted virtually, in person, or via one-way video as part of the process.
To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and special education settings.
