Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Processes Quality Engineer / Consultant with expertise in Aerospace Heat Treatment and Nadcap certification processes . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Nadcap and customer requirements, assisting clients in audit preparation and post-audit support , and providing guidance on pyrometric controls in aerospace heat treatment and thermal processing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize procedures and processes to ensure compliance with Nadcap and customer specifications.
• Assist customers with Nadcap audit preparation and provide post-audit support services .
• Monitor and ensure adherence to Nadcap standards across relevant manufacturing processes.
• Educate customers on pyrometric controls applicable to aerospace heat treating and thermal processing.
• Provide expertise in pyrometric controls for aerospace furnaces used in heat treatment.
• Conduct internal audits to identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions .
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer returns.
• Ensure effective implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address quality-related issues.
• Work closely with Quality Engineering teams to ensure process coordination.
• Maintain ISO-IEC 17025 accreditation and oversee quality administration and planning functions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes .
• In-depth knowledge of Metallurgy of Heat Treatment and process control systems .
• Prior experience in a quality engineering role within the aerospace industry .
• Familiarity with Nadcap standards , audit preparation, and compliance.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO-IEC 17025 .
