Job summary

GE Vernova in Ohio is seeking a technician to perform thermal spray and GEL coatings for gas turbine and aero-derivative engine repairs, following work instructions to perform blasting, polishing, and heat-treatment, among other tasks. The role requires secondary education or higher, NTC or equivalent preferred, English proficiency, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

On-the-job training is provided for those with less experience, and the position emphasizes quality, safety, and timely

• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report any unsafe practices/conditions.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities :
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Perform thermal spray and/or GEL coating for gas turbine & aero-derivative engine repair


• Follow Work instructions to perform any tasks assigned which may include blasting, polishing and heat-treatment, etc.


• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.


• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.


• Carries out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements :

• Completion of Secondary Level or higher education


• NTC or equivalent preferred


• 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position. Candidates without relevant experience will also be considered as on the job training will be provided.


• Basic Command of spoken and written English


• Able to perform rotating shift
