Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Special Procedures Technologist, you will be responsible for all aspects of patient radiographic imagery for invasive procedures and for radiologic safety precautions as they pertain to the patient, special lab staff and the physician. You will plan and carry out records of all radiologic requirements for quality control. We need someone who is dedicated to supporting patient care and working in a team environment.

What You Will Do In This Role
  • Have a clear understanding of procedures performed in the specials lab.
  • Understand sterile techniques and sterile field procedures.
  • Have a sound understanding of all radiation procedures.
  • Work with varying technologies such as Meditech, PACS, etc.
  • Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Special procedures team.
  • Administer medication and therapies under a physician's direction.
What Qualifications You Will Need
  • One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
  • Associate degree from a school of radiological technology is required.
  • BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required.
  • ARRT is preferred.
