Overview

Special Procedures Technologist at Medical City Arlington. Shift: Full-Time, Days with rotating weekends.

Role focuses on performing and assisting with high-quality special and invasive procedures, with emphasis on patient care and education. Participates in and promotes departmental goals and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain records
• Educate patients and family
• Attendance and being on time, ready to work scheduled hours is an essential job function
• Assist in departmental cost containment effort
• Deliver customer focused care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards to include the transport of patients as required to facilitate optimal patient care/flow

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic, or CST Certified Surgical Technologist, or ARRT-R Radiography, or Associate Degree, or work experience in lieu of degree
