Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist PRN to perform radiographic imaging for invasive procedures and ensure radiologic safety for patients, staff and physicians. You will plan and document radiologic requirements for quality control and support the Special Lab team.

Responsibilities include understanding procedures in specials Lab, sterile technique, radiation procedures, using Meditech and PACS, collaborating as a team, and

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
• Associated degree from a school of radiological technology is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required.
• ARRT is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand procedures performed in specials Lab.
• Understand sterile techniques and sterile field procedures.
• Sound understanding of all Radiation procedures.
• Work with varying technologies such as Meditech, PACS etc.
• Team player and meet the needs of the Special procedures team.
• Administer medications and therapies under physician direction.
