Job summary

PIKEVILLE MEDICAL CENTER INC. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide imaging services, including CT and MRI, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The role involves operating radiology equipment and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, an associate degree in Radiology Technology, and state certification. Nuclear Medicine certification preferred; ODC preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT and MRI units as directed to perform diagnostic procedures.

  • Maintain patient safety, safety checks, and sterility during imaging procedures.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Associates degree in Radiology Technology preferred. Radiologic Technology Certification and Kentucky State Certification required. Nuclear Medicine Certification preferred. ODC preferred.

Summary

Provides radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Operates CT and MRI scan units to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed.
