Job summary

Medical Edge in Cypress, TX seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technician / Special Procedures Tech to join a busy cardiovascular team. This full-time day shift role offers four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call duties requiring rapid response within 30 minutes.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or invasive cardiovascular technology program, hold ARRT-CV or RCIS, MRT or RCIS, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or accredited invasive cardiovascular technology program.
• ARRT-CV or RCIS certification; MRT certification or RCIS.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures while ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a sterile environment and support efficient workflow in the Cath Lab.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to provide outstanding patient care.

Education

Graduate of Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-CV or RCIS certification
