Job summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to perform diagnostic and invasive/interventional imaging. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met with professionalism and care.

The role requires knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique, with ARRT-R Radiography and RT Radiologic Technologist credentials, plus BLS and ACLS within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and invasive/interventional imaging procedures.
• Serves as the first point of contact with patients, delivering professional care.
• Maintains knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique.

As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic and invasive/interventional procedures. You will serve as the first point of contact with patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met with professionalism and care. This role requires knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• High School Graduate / GED
