Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Special Procedures Technologist, you will be a vital clinical professional, applying specialized X-ray energy for patient diagnosis or treatment. Every day, you'll meticulously perform complex radiological procedures and techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You'll ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning, operating advanced equipment with precision and upholding imaging standards. To be successful, you'll combine strong technical expertise with exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of radiation safety, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiography and color flow Doppler mapping efficiently and effectively, appropriate for the patient's condition and status, ensuring timely studies.
• Performs vascular diagnostic studies efficiently and effectively, appropriate for the patient's condition and status, ensuring timely studies.
• Assists physicians in performing stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography, ensuring efficient and timely performance.
• Performs Holter monitoring timely, including patient set-up, scanning, and report preparation.

Required

• 3 years experience with 2D, M-Mode echocardiography, color flow Doppler mapping, peripheral arterial and venous imaging, carotid duplex scanning, stress echocardiography, TEEs, 3-channel Holter monitoring.
• Fire Safety certification within 90 days.
• AHA Basic Life Support - CPR certification.

Preferred

• Associate of Science degree in cardiovascular technology.

Pay Range

$55.95 - $65.91 /hour
