Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical experience may substitute for the degree.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in Illinois; CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technically complex and high-risk nursing care, including sedation and IV infusions.
• Perform procedures such as lumbar puncture and cardiac catheterization.
• Possibly assume Charge Nurse responsibilities on the unit as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional/ethical standards.
