Job summary

Karmanos Cancer Institute is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist who will perform a range of diagnostic procedures using advanced imaging equipment. This position requires a commitment to patient care and a strong background in Radiologic Technology, including necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Possess two (2) years of formal education/training in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered/Certified as Radiologic Technologist.
• Certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Performs all procedures in Interventional Radiology and CT Procedure room.
• Sets up, monitors, and operates complex computerized equipment for diagnostic purposes.

Performs all procedures in Interventional Radiology and CT Procedure room. Sets up, monitors and operates complex computerized equipment for diagnostic purposes consistent with established department standards.

Required:

• Possess two (2) years of formal education/training beyond high school at an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered/Certified as Radiologic Technologist
• Certified as CT Technologist within 1 year of accepting a position as Special Procedures Technologist
• Certified in CPR
