Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a Special Procedure Technologist to assist nursing and physician teams in coordinating and performing interventional radiology examinations.

This full-time, day shift role requires on-call and weekend rotations. You will prepare and complete radiology procedures, ensure quality control and patient comfort, and collaborate on orders and lab results to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT and NJ DEP licenses required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Minimum 2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Procedural interventional radiology experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and completing departmental and non-departmental radiology procedures.
• Ensuring quality control and patient comfort during procedures.
• Collaborating with physicians on proper orders, requisitions, and lab results.
• Managing technical exposure factors to minimize radiation risk.
• Maintaining radiation safety and coordinating continuing education.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP licenses
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
• Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
