Role Overview: The Special Procedure Technologist supports the electrophysiology team by preparing, performing, and completing procedures such as ablations and cardiac implants, ensuring quality standards and patient comfort are maintained.
Assist in coordinating daily schedules, prepare procedure rooms, collaborate with physicians on orders and lab results, manage technical exposure factors to minimize radiation, and ensure radiation safety and ongoing education.
Must hold an active ARRT and NJ DEP license, BLS certification from AHA, with preferred minimum 2 years radiology and interventional radiology experience.
Assist with room prep, patient positioning, equipment programming, radiation safety, and quality assurance during procedures.
