Job summary

Lenawee Intermediate School District LISD TECH Center in Adrian, Michigan, invites applications for a Special Populations Consultant. This role focuses on supporting instructional staff to apply best practices for both general and special education students within career and technical education programs.

Responsibilities include ensuring members of special populations receive appropriate services within CTE training, advising teachers on accommodations, curriculum design, and assessment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education
• Knowledge of Career and Technical Education
• Three years educational experience in a variety of settings working with students and staff
• Successful experience in classroom instructional development, curriculum design, learning accommodations, brain research, and assessment
• Master’s Degree (preferred)
• TC Endorsement
• Counseling Experience
• Valid Michigan Secondary Teacher Certificate with full approval in Special Education

Responsibilities

• Advise instructional staff on best practices for general and special education students.
• Ensure members of special populations receive appropriate services within CTE training.
