Special Ops Physical Therapist Part-Time (27 SOW/Cannon AFB, NM) - Sign-on Bonus Eligible

Join KBR, Inc. as a Special Ops Physical Therapist Part-Time (27 SOW/Cannon AFB, NM). This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for qualified candidates (eligibility requirements may apply). Relocation assistance is available.

At KBR, we value creativity, resourcefulness, and collaboration to deliver cutting-edge solutions. We seek a dedicated Special Operations Physical Therapist to evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal conditions, serving our military and space exploration clients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals.
  • Refer patients to other staff as needed.
  • Provide musculoskeletal injury care, including ordering imaging, labs, pharmaceuticals, and referrals, with proper documentation.
  • Supervise PT Techs, PT Assistants, or ATCs within scope, if directed.
  • Participate in meetings to review care and identify improvements.
  • Advise on injury prevention, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, including purchasing and fiscal planning.
  • Review equipment, literature, and maintain current practices.
  • Contribute to database development and peer reviews.
  • Develop and update clinical guidelines and job descriptions.
  • Document care in electronic health records and databases.
  • Attend meetings with staff and medical providers as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status.
  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Certification as OCS or SCS by ABPTS or ATC by NATA.
  • Good standing credentialing at local MTF.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including hiking, working in austere environments, and lifting up to 25 kg.
  • At least 5 years of manual therapy experience, preferably with athletes or SOF.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Military or SOF experience.
  • Additional credentials like CSCS.
Additional Requirements
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
