Job summary

Delta State University seeks a Special Ops Event Staffing team member to assist campus safety during events, handling crowd and traffic control on-site. This part-time, non-tenure track position supports the Police Department and Campus Safety team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check. Some college and prior law enforcement experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED to qualify for event staffing.
• Valid Driver's License required for mobility during events.
• Be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Work with limited supervision; some college experience preferred.
• Law Enforcement experience is an added qualification.
