Title: Special Operations Psychological/Mental Health Technician 528th (Ft. Bragg, NC)

Responsibilities
  • Assist with outpatient behavioral health management and treatment activities under supervision.
  • Conduct intakes, assist with psychiatric, drug, and alcohol patient care, and provide counseling under supervision.
  • Perform work independently within guidelines, resolving non-recurring problems and referring unusual matters to supervisors.
  • Observe patients, report behavior patterns, and lead therapy sessions under professional guidance.
  • Complete intake interviews, collect statistical data, and assist with psychological testing and assessments.
  • Maintain databases, prepare correspondence, and manage clinical documentation and resource libraries.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and assist in program development and operational improvements.
  • Ensure supply levels, maintain physical property, and support safety and compliance policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Associate degree or equivalent military/training in mental health technician roles.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a psychiatric technician.
  • Training in crisis de-escalation, conflict management, and restraint techniques.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
